Hustle Hub is a campus marketplace where students buy, sell and offer services. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Name, email address, username, campus, profile picture and bio; listings with their photos, prices and WhatsApp number; comments, reactions, saves, reviews, messages and connections; and basic activity such as online status and last seen (you can hide both in Privacy settings). We also store a device notification token if you turn on notifications.

How we use it

To create and run your account, show your listings to other students on your campus, let buyers and sellers message each other, send verification codes and notifications, and keep the community safe. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who can see what

Your email is never shown to other users. Your username, name, picture, bio and listings are visible to other users. Your WhatsApp number is private. Only the Hustle Hub team can see it, and we use it to verify listings and help resolve disputes. Messages are visible to the people in the conversation. To keep users safe, the Hustle Hub team may review reported content, including messages, and suspend accounts that break our rules.

Services that process your data

Supabase stores accounts, listings, messages and pictures. EmailJS sends verification code emails. Netlify hosts the website. These providers handle data only to run Hustle Hub.

Your choices and deleting your account

You can edit your profile, delete your listings, block users and control your online status at any time. You can deactivate your account (hides your listings) or delete it permanently: sign in, open Me, then Delete my account. Deleting removes your profile, listings, pictures, messages, comments, reactions, reviews and connections. See how to delete your account. If you cannot sign in, email us from your registered address and we will delete it within 14 days.

Security and retention

Data is stored on secured servers and sent over HTTPS. We keep your data while your account exists and remove it when you delete the account. Records needed to investigate abuse or follow the law may be kept for a limited time.

Age

Hustle Hub is for people aged 16 and above.
